Does anyone know when the next management surplus announcement will come? I know I’ll be getting the notification but I am just not sure when

WFH people never retire. So yes a few of those that are 65 will leave immediately.

I would imagine something in February so that they can get them off the books by March 31.

“Dropping paperwork due to a requirement to work in the office? This proves RTO should have been implemented years ago.”

I think it’s just people not wanting to deal with the overcrowding, extra work, costs, and stress involved. Maybe they figured it just wasn’t worth it anymore. Most of these retirements I’ve been seeing are folks in their 50s. And I’m not hearing about any backfills either for folks that leave. That’s pretty telling.

“This proves RTO should have been implemented years ago”

Did you ever think that maybe these folks were not ready to retire years ago? Are you willing to retire today even though you won’t be ready years from now?

You’re really not that smart and I’m sure no one likes to work with you.

Probably end of Q1. They are going to wait and see how many firings and people quitting they can get from the 5x8 mandate. So far we’ve seen a lot of retirement paperwork flying as a result.

Expect something at the end of the month. The tradition will continue this year. Don’t assume they forgot or change the tactic. People complain about crowded offices, wait couple months and problem will be solved.
