WFH employees cost less to employ, and have a superior talent pool. Maybe in-office hacks like you should take a pay cut for your inefficiency.
whoever wants WFH should be allowed to select a salary package that has 20% pay cut and 50% cut in bonus. See the crowd in office. Some old folks closer to retirement might take it.
As a boomer, I am telling you it isn’t easy to organize and fight. Been there, done that. Women’s rights, animal rights, civil rights, g-y rights all brought about by boomers in large numbers carrying banners along with some civil disobedience. I dare you to grab some co- workers, make some signs and stand outside corporate headquarters and picket. You could probably get a few union nurses and teamsters to join you in solidarity. It’s the only way you will get attention
Until I see picketing, not striking, WF workers outside corporate headquarters you will not be legitimately working hard to unionize in my eyes. I dare you. Only media worthy actions by employees will bring change. That means standing with a sign on a picket line.

Boomers are set to be near-fully retired by 2030 and hopefully they'll take these old and tired legacy values with them.
To the person who commented on there being plenty of workers happy to have a job in an office, I'd say that's a minority; probably not "plenty". The labor shortage will continue to deepen over the next few years and there will not be "plenty" of workers willing to work in an office (see boomer retirement comment above). Many are dealing with it, but one has to wonder what sort of impact it has on productivity when people feel constant resentmentoverbeing continuously lied to.
