Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

AT&T's presence on LinkedIn is disgusting

Seeing all of these stupid little videos HR pumps out feels like someone's taking moldy walls and painting them over to hide the fact the place is an absolute DUMP. It's sickening beyond words.

Why are we even wasting money on this cr-p? Meanwhile, we have customers on social media calling our company sh-t, because it is sh-t.

Because the shareholders are on LinkedIn and need to feel happy with their investments and they are stupid enough to think LinkedIn is reality.

Smoke and mirrors.

It’s comical. Like a certain L3 in HR in Dallas that posted how awesome RTO was last week. Then his minion ru-p swabs chime in. It’s really pathetic. Kudos to those that call him and T leadership out in the comments.

This comment from that LinkedIn post sums up the hypocrisy perfectly:

Why a telecoms company that is meant to lead the planet on “communication with people who are somewhere else” eg…. THE “ONLY” PURPOSE OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS” is for optimum collaboration and communication for people who are “located elsewhere” cannot manage remote work is a self fulfilling answer.

What sort of example does a company that sells “remote communication” as it’s ONLY product who won’t let people work remotely set?..

It sets a framework that states its own products and tools cannot be relied on.

Not all of it is corporate brainwashing. This received over 2,800 likes so far. When you get these in your feed, like them and push them up. Comment at your own peril though.

Agree 100%. Have known some of the bigger names on LinkedIn on sales sides that have left in last 2-3 years for better opportunities. It’s an echo chamber.

Hard to accept anything good about AT&T when my life is so miserable.

Most of the employees shown on LinkedIn will likely show ..left business.. in outlook within the next 12 months, especially those with project management do-nothing titles.
