Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

It looks like Covid pay is stopping November 1st.

How is that going to work? Do you go to the store with Covid if you are out of sick time? It's holiday time they really need you at the store...

Uh, I had to send in my positive diagnosis the one time I got it and my partner was hospitalized in the COVID icu for a week while I took care of our child who was also positive

Well, had the company done the smart thing and made people prove they were COVID positive to be approved for time off we wouldn't be in this situation. The id--ts at the top that didn't require proof of being sick should be fired, we had people that would be in the store for a week, sneeze and say they had a sore throat and get 2 weeks off, month after month, and the only people that got the shaft were the honest people that kept showing up for work, but that seems to be the norm at this company. So what now, just come to work with COVID because you're out of time and won't get paid, the people running this company are a-s backwards!

The only people who cry about Covid pay are the babies who abused it to begin with. Sorry, your two week vacation every 6 weeks is done.

Can't stop in California because it's the law. Verlieson pretending the pandemic is over like all the other greedy corporations won't make it so.
