Quality Alert Los Angeles County and South Bay Cities
Air Quality Advisory: January 9, 2025

Due to the ongoing fire incidents in the region, AQMD (Air Quality Management District) is recommending the following precautions for any area that is impacted by smoke, including the City of El Segundo:

Limit exposure to smoke by keeping doors and windows closed.
Avoid vigorous physical activity.
Avoid swamp coolers or fans that filter in outside air.
Avoid using wood burning appliances or fireplaces.
If you must be outside, consider wearing respiratory protection.

Starting more fires uses less gas than commuting. Just FYI.

Sounds like AT&T found a way around those pesky laws about not being able to get rid of copper in California.

It’s sad that we need to use a layoff site to get safety information for our work location. What a cluster this company has become.

If the office and surrounding community are burning, then get ready for more layoffs since there won't be any customers to provide service to.
