Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

mob rule

I love watching the chaos as morale and motivation die a little more each day.

It is ONLY getting uglier as employees grow more angry.

If the company doesn’t find a way to put this fire out it will eventually consume the entire organization.

The company is imploding before our eye's.

Many of us have no issues with T.

I bet “many” of you would have issues with T if you took a $10k salary cut effective 2/1. Essentially we need to produce 40% more to make same amount of money we did the year before. Also, the higher ups need to realize we aren’t as stupid as you are. When you tell us there is a 35% commission increase and then we check the numbers and find out 1 thing is a 20% increase and the rest are a 10% increase, we know.

I’ve seen more life in a graveyard than at the office these days.

The CEO and CTO of this company should be absolutely embarrassed to show their faces. Somebody please tell them that we all think they are a disgrace and a laughing stock.
It doesn’t matter if the motivation is head count reduction, what matters is that history is recording live and they are being re-defined by their utter incompetency. Nobody is going to be congratulating them for hitting numbers when they are treating people of color, women, interns and transgenders with such indecency. (I didn’t mention Caucasians because we no longer count right Jeremy?). Hillbilly behavior by our leadership on display for the whole world to see.

“ What crybabies you all are. Give it some time. It will work out.”

All these comments come from the union field guys. Yeah, I’ve seen your grievances. Want to talk about crying. If you all dealt with what we are, you all would be back on strike. The office workers have requested to join the CWA. They call us managers, but we don’t manage people. If CWA doesn’t want us, guess we’ll shop another union.

“ When employee performance rankings drop for minimal effort leading to future surplus targeting, all will be corrected.”

And there is the a$$ kisser that each team has, but already hates.

“Weird, I don't see it with the folks in my building. Some of you have created your own little fantasy world where every thinks and acts just like you. Wake Up!”

Actually it’s because no one likes you enough to talk to you. Back to your cave knuckle dragging mouth breather

The animosity is on clear display with every interaction I’ve had with folks. Like it’s the forefront of the conversation. Everyone is saying when they leave for the day that’s it. Doing their time and nothing more. Nobody is putting in extra effort. That can’t be good for the company bottom line.

They. Don’t. Care. Their bonuses are based on the stock price alone and Wall Street loves a good creative way to get rid of a bunch of serfs.
