Chase employees and contractors can and should follow the handbook / code of conduct and report violations either anonymously or share your name. It’s an outside Ethics investigator. If you report things and they do nothing, you can be protected. We all need to blow the whistle.
I've never been more upset at any employer then I do now.
Employees are nothing more than office equipment.
I don’t work for Chase. But my husband works for a f500 in nyc and went from 2 days in office to 3. I think other firms are going to copy Chase. He said he doesn’t really have a desk but he goes in Mon/tues/fri when people aren’t there. He said all of his mtgs are on zoom still. No need to talk to employees either as he writes proposals n everything is shared collated on using teams 365. This article is on layoffs because most feel it’s a way to trim Chase workforce as a lot of people have had it with working in offices. NYC/NJ is awful for commuting. Congestion tolls. All the tolls went up and dangerous trains. NJ transit can’t get their trains to work consistently. It’s a mess. And it’s a way to force people to quit and for those that won’t it’s a way to get more money from commuters. It’s too expensive to commute and or too dangerous if using the trains. NYC commutes are 1 hr. My husband said he’s exhausted with 3 days in office. He said he doesn’t know how he would even work 5 days in office again. We need to revolt. Finance employees also need unions. I’m not sure why we aren’t unionized. We aren’t paid well even if making 6figs in finance. It’s awful. The rich will continue to puppeteer us by dangling small wages and expensive healthcare over our heads. Also Covid numbers will soar!
I am not afraid. Consulting and Chase do not care. We must remain present. Chase causes PTSD. We are covered by Sarbanes Oxley for Anti Retaliation Whistle Blower and Chase has no clue. We keep reporting you via the Ethics website as shown in the Code of Conduct.

We do not fear you CORPORATE AMERICA. We are protected under SOX.
We have to reserve seats and I can tell you that we do not have the capacity for 5x. I’m sure layoffs are coming.
Cry cry cry boohoo people would die for a job at JP or Goldman.
I was discouraged from asking about the possibility of working remote during the interview process. I asked for a medical accommodation to work from home when I started at JPMC. (My disability has progressed since I last worked on-site.) I was denied. They claimed the job was classified as on-site and I would need my position re-classified as remote. Fat chance of that. Boss did not want to lose me, so have been working from home. What is my best path forward - I am physically unable to sit/stand for 8 hours, but can still think! I would like to stay on with the firm.
Bring on the hours of commute , gas expenses , car maintenance , body shaming , restroom embarrassment, uncomfortableness , and social awkwardness. All at the cost of the employee .
Elon and Trump played a part in this . Their plan is to make all govt employees return as well. I can confirm that there are certain roles in chase were all the focus is on production and hitting numbers (not to socialize or team work projects ).
Not an employee but just wanted to say that it is absolutely terrible to know from the press rather than your internal comms. And RTO never really made sense with all the profits being made while employees WFH.
Zoom calls represent 90 percent of our meetings which are all on zoom - even 1:s when ten feet away, let alone relentless calls to people in foreign countries plus partners across the country. Culture is toxic at its highest point. Just started my see on year and was only given half eaten pizza while NYC has snacks and meals for free when others have to pay big prices for recycled food. And if its for real estate bing a priority, its a real slap to the face to the people that run it
Shameful and full of deceitful. And what organization tells the press before its own employees since I think we would all betknow this is true
4 days was rumored since last yearand thought was there would be problems with that....jokes on us.
Just heard it’s official. All 5 days in office for us managers are already talking for our LOB. No confirmed start date yet. Wondering how it will work for other sites who have to reserve seats or are permanently wfh…
I’m really looking forward to having all the MDs back in the office five days a week.
That means you better find a place for those in Columbus and all of underwriting. That means every single fu--ing employee.
Then EVERYONE in the ENTIRE company should be made to go to the office 5 days a week AND work FULL days. Not just put in an appearance and leave again. EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE... no picking and choosing all the way up to JD.
Let’s stage a walk out. I’m tired of the constant bullsh-t. I will not be returning to the office.
Some teams are just waiting for you to leave . Sad.
Toilets will be interesting
It does not make sense for tech positions. Let's see how they are going to find seats in the office. I spend 60% of my days on Zoom calls, so I do not know what they mean by work in person. It does not seem to apply for my role.
atleast I wont need to book a seat constantly, and mof0s will know its MY seat and not to take it.
Ok, not sure why you’re posting this on layoffs. I’d anything it will lead to people leaving aka no layoffs probably by design. Also that’s literally how the breaking news works .. you know leaked and privileged information. Welcome to reality.
Some people don’t have brains apparently.
Wonder who leaked that Gem to the press? Wonder how they are going to make that work at sites that can barely house 3 days a week?
Its funny how Bloomberg knows this before JPMC Employees do.
