I would suggest not making any calls or contacting the ethics department. It is definitely not confidential with this bs company. You are the only one that will be questioned. Ethics is the discipline between what is morally right vs wrong.
Have you reviewed the backgrounds of the VZ executives? If you have not, please review and you can easily determine that most are devoid of ethics.
CEO - bribery, fraud, embezzlement, funding ISIS, etc.
Former CEO VZ Consumer Group - price fixing, collusion, etc.
There are more, but these two should provide enough information.
