I'm a manager and I pushed back on being forced to rate someone inconsistently meets. My manager and my manager's manager didn't care who it was, just as long as I rated someone lower. I was told if I didn't, I wasn't doing my job as a manager. I went to Employee Relations twice and pushed back. I didn't rate anyone lower. We'll see if I get rated inconsistently meets or needs improvement in retribution.
Simple. If they do it to you, you do it to them.
My evil boss tried to set me up to fail several times. So I will set him up to fail too. Works both ways.
Managwrs need to do this with the forced ratings of below meets! Specifically if folks are performing. This is so unethical.
Careful folks. I identified some risk in GTM payments and it cost me my job. Not fired, but forced out with toxicy and management actions. Better to stay quiet and move to something else. Regulators and others will not save you from the Wells Fargo machine and its supporters. God Bless.

Unfortunately, Carrie T escaped the prison sentence because she hired a team of high powered attorneys. I respect Martha Stewart because she had the guts to complete her prison sentence.
