here is a new flash. If what came before the roman empire is still around... they will kiss you....fu-k you....ra-e you....burn you...then dismember you. ....all in the same 1hr.... not even the day. it will be a total win win merci beaucoup.
As an Indian, I can totally say that so many Indian managers/leaders in GTS totally bringing toxic Indian work culture to US.
It’s unfortunate. Most of their victims are other Indian workers.
Culture is driven from the top. Look at the ring leader.. he is driving the bad culture down the spiral .. I was confused how he got promoted.
Just tell him that his org has no impact on the revenue at all. What is being worked on is of not any significant value. Nobody is going into the verizon stores no matter what is done. You can tell him to just go to any store and look with his own eyes. That will shut him up.
It depends on the type of contractor you are. If you are time and materials, you absolutely get OT for hours over 40. If you are a statement of work contractor, you need to look at what your contract says for OT. Either way, you should let your agency know what's going on and don't answer the phone.
If you're a contractor, then you do not need to pick up the phone when he calls or pings. Read your contract that you signed. And if he complains to you about not answering him, tell your agency that they need to pay you overtime for all the extra work you do after working hours. Let his company get the bill from your company, and his director will tell him to only contact you during official working hours. Complain to your contracting agency for overtime pay, and it will stop. He is abusing your personal hours/time.
