They don't trust you.
Why do any of you continue to work for a company that has created an adversarial relationship with its employees? There are plenty of other companies to work for that value and respect their employees. How do you wear those orange shirts and pose on LinkedIn without shame? You all deserve better. This company can't thrive in the environment they've created, and you can't thrive in it either.
I just show up and do what I do and earn my paycheck without getting overly stressed. gone are the days of putting in anything more than the base level. if they eventually give me the boot so be it. I'll just add to their annual severance costs and go someplace else. Why bother giving 2 sh!ts for a company that doesn't give half a sh!t about you. There's no reason to give them any amount of loyalty when they don't show you any. I don't know how people come to work at Fiserv happy about what they are doing and satisfied about their jobs. I used to enjoy it and actually tried to make it a better place. nowadays why bother.

The management keeps feeding the employees lies as well. They tell the employees things are going to get better, just give it a little more time.
As professionals, who is going to bash the company publicly? You just don't do that.
