New article by Caitlin Mullen.
Caitlin, the “declined to comment” comments say a lot. They’re not hitting the 3,000 employee number as quickly as they thought. It never occurred to them that most employees don’t want to move at all, let alone to NJ. As for new hires, there’s too much competition in this space. Young people have choices. Finally, the notion that the NJ jobs are “mostly tech” is incorrect. By tech, we internally define that at IT and Data Center. If you dig you’ll find that these folks done fit on either. For the most part.
