I have never worked in a company where the leadership is more disconnected from employees than here. You? It's as if they expect the employees to care more about the future of this company than they do, even though we are mostly inadequately compensated and overwhelmed with work.

It's not that there is a disconnect, it's that they just don't care!!!
Not op but I have worked other large companies and the disconnect is unmatched at big red. The cheerlead like we get off for lining the pockets of the shareholder. Like we should bow down and forgive our lives for the all might KPI. Seriously should scrap it all and start over.
You should try working for a big box retailer. Or a beheamouth like Amazon.
