Hearing more cuts are happening this week, anyone else hear the same?

My leadership states they are cutting contractors but I see a slew of long term employees looking for work on LinkedIn. Hate the instability that comes with the culture of senior leadership.
Regarding receiving the severance timeline via direct deposit. Paper work stated up to two pay periods after signing the severance agreement. I received my severance payout within one pay period - approximately 13 days. My layoff notification was earlier this year.

Assuming you signed and returned your layoff papers immediately, a check at the end of your next pay period will have the untaken vacay and payment in lieu of notice. The pay period after that will have your severance, as a lump sum. The taxes are outrageous, but one assumes one will get the excess federal tax refunded at tax time.

You will know things are really bad when they let you walk on the grass again.
Lincoln will have another building sold off in 2023. The only remaining buildings will be west and center. The population has been slashed so drastically that I guess it is inevitable.

Everyone is saying that. We will probably see cuts from now until the end of the year. The only question is on what scale. Strictly opinion but hard to argue the trend that’s been set.
