Can people who have been laid off post what their severance packages look like? I’m afraid it’s only a matter of time till the axe falls and am worried about the timing with the end of the year and finding something new. I have a baby so any info would be appreciated.

Has anyone requested/negotiated more weeks pay in the severance offer? If so was it easily negotiable?
IC here no invested stock simple RIF.
No notice so lieu of notice 2 weeks pay.
Wasn’t on health plan so I can’t speak to that.
2 weeks per year service truncated, not rounded. If you were there 4 years and 11 months it’s 4 years, 8 weeks pay severance.
Check at layoff for unused R&R and lieu of notice. Taxes out on it as a lump sum.
Mailed in papers saying not to disparage employer, dismiss all claims, etc, after a week or two lump sum check for severance with taxes out.
You get contacted by an outplacement assistance firm. Can’t say how good the service is I had found another company and wasn’t worried.
Now happily working remotely. Less stress no midnight bridges lasting into the wee hours no RCA research for clients.
I miss my colleagues they were great I hope they are well and reading here I hope they are elsewhere.
Pretty standard RIF. I was put off at first as I had been a good worker. But it isn’t personal and your life is more than your occupation.
Good luck to you I wish you the best.
Is it paid as a lump sum? Do you have a choice for installments?
There are variables to consider which you did not state. Age, position, length of service.
Are you Director ofvsbove? Do you qualify for Rule of 70?
Unused time will be forfeited, including banked sick time, if applicable.
Two weeks per year of service. Capped out at 13 years.
It’s posted on the Fiserv intranet site. Type in “severance” in the search bar
