Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

RIFs thru EOW

Rifs continue this week, very deep and surprising decisions on ppl who have deep experience being let go. Some teams have almost no one left. Clients will feel this impact.

It will continue into next week, seems like legal and HR is not able to keep up with numbers....some Sr leaders are taking pride in this accomplishment and cutting people to satisfy their superiority without understanding impacts.

OP: "Some teams have almost no one left." Update: Some teams have no one left, except uninformed clients.

Clients already feel the impact. Taking a person that has been there for 20 years and knows the product inside and out and replacing them with someone who hasn’t even worked in a bank because they can go to BH is awful. The clients know more than they do. It takes well over a month to get an answer to what should be a simple question, assuming you get an answer at all. The clients are relying on each other and will be jumping ship left and right. DNA business unit is decimated. Rumor has it no one is left in training. So can you even train the new people? I feel sorry for the new people who are excited to have a job at a tech company, only to be set up to fail and struggle all day long.

It’s a very sad environment…the associates being let go/ their names are not to be spoken …that too is very disrespectful…they preach teamwork and engagement but yet pull this cr-p.

Very sad. I cannot imagine what will become the state of some client environments that are outsourced to Fiserv. Truly stunned by some of the folks cut today. Sad for the personnel left to pickup the pieces and sad for the clients who rely on Fiserv to run their business. FB...no words. Shareholders remember you can only cut your way to profitably for so long and then it all implodes.
