Since the diminishment of our commission structure and low raises that did not even cover inflation rates. I feel it maybe a good idea to go part time 32 hours (to keep benefits) and possibly get a second job in the evenings if the crew allows me only mornings and weekends. I know a lot of us have been reduced to living paycheck to paycheck but for those of us that maybe have taken a side hustle or second job, what kind of jobs have you found that workout with the jumbled scheduling that we are handed? How is it working out? Any suggestions would be great. It's a shame I have to be reduced to asking this, but my area doesn't have many high paying positions atm in my field I studied in college so, until I find that opportunity I need to hold down 2 jobs to keep a float. I applied to a night grocery stock position so it's easy and just a little extra as the holidays are approaching and would love to put some gifts under the tree and have bills paid. Sucks that I used to be able to do all that when this company actually took care of us reps.

I'm putting in my two weeks tomorrow. I feel refreshed. So excited to move on. This place has tortured me for 9 long years. Find the inner strength to move on Vteamers. The grass is always greener, especially at this company.

I am looking to go part time with ATT because they really don't care about us at this company
1/2 the people on my team in Customer Service has second jobs, including my boss. She said she has reps complain about their salary every year, then she showed me that she makes only a little bit more than the people on our team, and that's due to STI% being a little higher. I jokingly make fun of her and tell her to bring me a refill of coke since she works at a pizza place after hours. I think she's empty inside and while she doesn't say it, she is definitely trying to make ends meet.
That being said, Verizon hates their employees and people at Amazon are happier.
