Companies are looking for skilled employees, and word is that Oracle is on the edge of catastrophe. If you're not out yet, take a look around and leave! The toxicity of that company is nowhere else to be found! Good luck everyone

I am not sure that global recession and possible depression is going to be kind to the whole industry.

The more people O lays off, the more rebels are out there to fight them. May the force be with you!
And customers only use Oracle because of vendor lock in and customizations. Otherwise the customer service is rotten and LJE has a workforce which hates him.
I am an ex employee, I don’t believe oracle is on the edge of catastrophe, it’s that they are no longer relevant anymore and customers don’t need oracle, there are better apps and databases out there. Just look what Mariadb has become after it was forked from MySQL, it’s now a much better db at an enterprise level.
