Looking for a job from Fiserv was a little difficult for me mainly because I wasn’t sure what to look for in the market and was with Fiserv for a while. I then built multiple versions of my CV targeting specific jobs and also had various covering letters. The success rate for me was about 2%, for 100 applications, I only got 2 jobs. It’s painful to go through multiple rounds of interviews, in some got dropped after the HR discussion, some after first, some after multiple rounds. It’s frustrating but had no choice.

The Great Places to Work website has lists of some different categories of companies that are rated well by their employees. I can't vouch for the validity of their ratings, but it's a good starting point.

Invest in getting your resume and LinkedIn profile reworked. It is worth it.

Use your friends and past co-workers. Every person that I tell is trying to get me to come work at where they work.

My entire team stayed connected on Linkedin and found jobs with reference to other team contacts and brought them in too. Networking on that platform really works. Use references and ask any and all contacts for a helping hand. You need it - now is the time to spend it.

Invest in career coaching and/or hiring a professional to update your resume. I spent around $550 for both and landed a significantly better job pretty quick. Also, don’t only apply through LinkedIn. Go to company sites and apply. Identify what you want and apply based on that. Sending you best wishes! You will be successful!

I agree with using your friends and network connections. See where some of your favorite co-workers are now and see if their new companies are hiring. Don’t be afraid to invest in your résumé as it is what gets you in the front door and it’s up to you once you are in the door.

Don't be afraid to reach out to your connection list. If they have a job that looks like somewhere you'd like to work ask if they can give you a recommendation with your application. That's how I've got most of my jobs is through a friend referral.
