Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

They never do anything that benefits employees

What miracle needs to happen so that the leadership of this company starts working for our benefit?

Fiserv is self-insured. If there have been no premium increases in two years (which is true), are we to believe that in an era of keen expense management the company is somehow absorbing those increases? Or...are premiums and deductibles so high...along with attrition...that the pot is covering those expenses just fine... There sure as all heck ain't no charity being handed out from 1 Broadway, kids....

No the insurance premium didn't go up. The deductible however did by a few thousand

The miracle would have to be in the form of us workers having full and complete ownership of the company and all of its resources.

The only way we get there is by revolution.

I can go up if you go over a threshold. Particularly if you go just over the threshold, so you effectively get a pay cut from your salary adjustment.

Insurance has not gone up in fact it has been the same for two years - why would you lie about a fact that can be verified so easily???

I didn’t get a bonus in 2019 2020 or 2021. Didn’t wait to see if 2022 would be different. Went somewhere else where I’m appreciated, work IT remotely, have received quarterly bonuses and recently my annual bonus.
Nice to see Frank validate my decision to leave.
Have a great holiday and a nice new year.

Not every essential employee received the 25% temp / 10% permanent raise. As for the insurance. Mine has gone up every year. I know they say it won’t but alas it has.

Many many do not make big bucks but are expected to work like they do…not an equal field…we get tired of being asked to give give and contribute to everything…when inflation is hitting us hard

Frank needs to go. That’s the only way things will ever change.

Lmao. Look at these guys trying to say fiserv is doing a good job. Y’all need to look at other departments. I didn’t get any increase for the last handful of years despite doing a kickass job holding together my department u set a severe shortage of resources. We lost profit sharing and bonuses many years back. And you think getting Juneteenth is payback for that? Give me a break. Y’all enjoy Frank tanking this company, cause I am out. Peace.

Yes and Fiserv was only a very small number of companies to pay bonuses in 2020 when the pandemic shut everything down…not sure if orig post even works at Fiserv. You can criticize but to say that Fiserv doesn’t invest a lot in its people us a pure fabrication.

If you don't like people working from home - go work in a factory!

We lost our 401k matching to cover the essential workers increase.

Not true at all! So when every company passed along double digit medical premium increases the last two years and Fiserv did not are you telling me that this didn’t benefit employees???

How about during the pandemic when we Raised wages for our essential workers by 25% and permanently by 10%, this also didn’t benefit employees???

What about the new holiday of Juneteenth added this year, also no benefit???

How about the millions invested in training and development, no benefit to the career advancement of thousands???

I could go on and on but I will stop, your point proven entirely wrong. We get that some small number of non-SMEs are upset over the fact that we as a company prefer our team to be in an office the majority. Most of us have relocated 3-6 times in our career, try moving once and you might find it to be ok.
