Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Severance Package

I’ll shed some light on what I got offered this week:

  • On the payroll till end of Jan.
  • Two months compensation after termination.

Additionally, we are all given:

  • Medical 6 weeks after termination date.

Four months base seems to be pretty standard, but it does not appear that Oracle is adding weeks for seniority. My spouse was laid off from a Series D start up at the beginning of Covid in 2020 and was only given one month, despite his title (Director) and seniority. His company did offer to reimburse for COBRA for eight months, which was as important as the cash payout.

Sick and COVID are not paid out- only ACCRUED time... so non-exempt PTO. Those upper levels on "unlimited" plans will not get that time paid out either

In addition, would you get your accruals paid out, including Sick and Covid time?
