It was bound to happen. South Florida …. 75 Verizon home sales tracked back to the same qualifying address. Just say no to slamming !

I refuse to make a metric move by doing it incorrectly. Idc if that category in Bio is below target. We do it right and still get yelled at because we (managers) look at accounts, get dinged on it in “view only” (but apparently THAT is fixed as of today) and can’t 100% talk with confidence to competitors pricing. It’ll eventually catch up to the stores that do this. Y’all sh---y for that.
yeah there is no incentive to slam or do more then the bare min. Not like they are really paying us for sales. Imagine having no integrity and no brain? Sounds like the perfect employee.
Wait wait… let me get this straight . They jeopardize their JOBS for a quick $100-$200 extra comission pay per month ? Makes no sense at ALL!
This is going on in my district in Southern Cal. Changing a customers address to qualify them for Verizon home is 100% fraud. That’s in the same lines as stolen identity. I remember a rep about 4 years ago getting fired for changing a customers email address so all surveys came to his boiler plate email.
Didn’t Verizon get rid of individual commission to prevent this sort of thing from happening ? I guess that didn’t work because things are slammed more then ever before without actually making decent commission from it. That’s the confusing part, putting in all that extra effort to slam something with zero net gain. I guess it’s like someone said, all about getting promoted. Maybe since people are getting fired this will come to an end.
With constant threats and micro managing, over a cr-p product that doesn’t work well, they have to expect massive amounts of fraud. This is a tale as old as time that happens with every cell provider sadly. The make the reps resort to this under threats of fire, then when the heat mounts they virtue signal and act as if the reps are doing this because they want to……
They did fraud bro.
There is a report if you use an address more than once, so this is not smart at all.
There are definitely a bunch of GM’s and SM’s in Southern New England ( Northeast) that use this tactic. It’s crazy because the extra 10-20 lines a month they net by the scheme barely makes a dent in the team commission check. Rest assured those participating in this are trying to make themselves look good for future promotions. Sadly stores that do it the right way have to go up against store numbers that are based on fraud. ESIM new lines and business ONE TALK also come to mind.
This was all over Hialeah and Doral store. The GM and SMs all are also into this scheme.
Every district meeting they always talking how great they do and look they are nothing but FRAUD!
Confirmed but that was not all they did but surely was a big part of it.
