Location in Louisville went through and rearranged leadership and had a lot of people either step down or take a severance. There's talks of it happening again but this time impacting their designers, too.
I know there was a large number of layoffs this week, particularly among HR leaders. I heard at least 10 HRDs across the country, as well as a handful of Talent Acquisition Managers.
I heard 60 engineers were laid off in Austin, TX.
I'm in Austin TX and we lost about a dozen Network Engineers in Managed Services and Circuit Design plus a few spots in the Comms Desk

Been slow for contractors in so cal since June of 23. Not getting any better. Charter losing customers to Frontier and AT&T. Having trouble keeping their own employees busy. Never seen this happen before.
Call center site in Florence KY was announced to be shut down come February 1st 2024. Site does sales and labeled of out performing multiple other locations, yet being closed anyways.

Charter Communications will revoke your severance if they offer you one. They did it to me.
After signing an agreement with them, they made up an excuse and revoked the severance payout after signing it.
Never, EVER believe Charter if they offer you anything.
If a layoff gets announced: do the minimum, break things, and find another job immediately. Patrick Fitzmorris is sleazy and so is anyone who empowers him.
Charter Communications (spectrum) is doing massive layoff today, at least in their Denver facilities. Video Ops is getting hit hard.
My whole call center was of over 100+ people is being laid off in October. This is in NY. Management didn’t even know until the meeting last Wednesday.
they canned me one month from being vested... goes to show how much they as a company care about their employees. Everyone in my local office got along great
More lay offs are coming 3 quarter. Last big lay off was May 2023, at least for St. Louis. This company is a joke, the new CEO is making everyone miserable, the place already has no culture. No wonder gen-z doesn’t want to work there.
