Frankly, if the “sellers was laid off” statement is true (which I have my doubts), I say good riddance. The fact that we have like 8 sales people per deal is absurd, redundant, and useless. I deal with a lot of these sellers on a daily basis. Most of them can’t even clearly articulate what product they sell. Never have I seen a more worthless group of people, who consume large amounts of money.
Keep the decent sellers and enable partners to sell on their own. I welcome the day that we shed large amount of dead weight!
"A group of sellers was laid off. Still employed til 2/2/23 then lumpsum."
Bullsh-t. More info/specifics or you're full of it.
I volunteer as tribute to be laid off.
@3xuu+1jU2EdGA how much would be the lump sum?
Any prorated bonus given?
A group of sellers was laid off. Still employed til 2/2/23 then lumpsum.
If you mean the more restricted remote access to our apps, that's company wide not individualized.
What do you mean by 'If your access has changed for how you work remotely beware.' ? Can you give an example?
Usually bonus is given. Withholding that gives execs only litigation risk. Most people will walk away quietly if you give the bonus. A dangerous class action is possible otherwise. They just need to fudge numbers. Reducing the employee count is sufficient for that. No need to destroy lives in that process.
How about bonus ? Do we get it ?
22 February 2023 actually makes sense. Dump a boatload of employees out the door JUST BEFORE the Summer 2022 RSU batch starts to vest.
Typical.
Past layoffs happened in january. Why will it be in february this time?
Feb 22, 2023
you mean February 2023? Or 22nd of February?
February 22 has significance for some roles.
If your access has changed for how you work remotely beware.
