Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

I have had solid reviews. No raise (and our division not eligible for bonuses) in 6+ years. The same story from whole team. They gave some paltry GBUs to a few people but only vest 1/4 each year

In short, they’ve done nothing for inflation

Getting a raise at O is the exception, not the rule. I’ve never worked for such a cheapo company that was actually making money.

All that time o had two CEOs! FFS!

Left for a company a fraction of the size and have received three raises and bonuses. How O does comp isn’t normal. It’s insulting.

But VPs get raises?

RSU’s Mean nothing if they let you go before they kick in.

It is rare for Oracle to give any increases. A few years ago the best they did was give you part of what you would have gotten in a bonus and then reduced your bonus opportunity by that much. Then bonus payouts were miniscule.

Yes. I work for Oracle JAPAC and got a salary increase at the beginning of the FY. I also got RSUs

I guarantee that this guy’s either a hack with a pipeline to Safra, or some HR bozo chartered with collecting information from Oracle employees. Don’t fall for it, unless you just don’t care.

Think about it - someone coming on a LAYOFF site asking for these details?

I work for Oracle and have received a raise the previous 2 years. It's a nice change from the years prior.

No raises at Oracle since 2018band 2 in last 10 years.

If you consider a layoff as an adjustment, then yes!
