I heard a rumor that managers are being told they’ll be fired if they don’t enforce RTO. Can anyone confirm if that’s true?

You all know that different work groups enforce things like this differently, right? A team in one part of the bank may start firing people for not showing up or fire managers for not having compliant teams, while another part just expects people to self motivate. This is a large company.
Firing all upper and middle management would be an awesome start for the bank to change their culture.
Doesn't sound quite right, most managers are simply sticking to the existing hybrid schedules with little to no aggressive RTO mandate in place, that may change after the holiday season, but after the disastrous quarterly announcement of 3 day a week RTO, sitting in a hybrid set up 18 months longer than the peer groups, sounds like most business lines are calling the bluff, we should see new leadership at U.S. Bank before we see any hybrid roles mandated to be in office 3 days a week.
