Driving an hour to sit in an empty office where everyone ignores each other

Collaboration my a-s…. driving an hour just to sit in online meetings with team members spread out all over the world is just peak idiocy. Am I supposed to enjoy being in a dinky cube that smells like mildew and has no cube walls? I’m spending an extra $25+ a day just on gas/parking/lunch.

Funny how I’m supposed to be in the office collaborating when half my team has been outsourced to India and the Philippines. No one actually wants to talk to each other in the office cause we don’t know each other and we’re all just burned out and miserable being here. But the free dollar store coffee they give us should be incentive enough right

I refuse to shower before the in-office days. Only afterwards to wash away the filth of it all. Sorry, not sorry. Oh and I'm fat, too so I smell even worse.

There's a reason alright, to tank morale and get people to want to leave. This is literally all Shart cares about, it's his #1 mission. Everything else is a load of BS. He doesn't even care about asset caps or consent orders, and definitely not customers. It's amazing how poorly this guy performs for someone making $30M. Mary Mack would be infinitely superior.

Yes. It’s one thing to work hard and go the extra mile when we have a shared goal and inspiring leadership. It’s quite another to spend hours commuting to an office because the CEO says “because I said so.” There’s not even a reason. I once did meaningful work. Now I shake my head when I think about the hour and a half I spent driving to and from an empty office because that’s my employer’s #1 priority. Not the business, not employees, not customers.

That's my idea of collaboration.
