I am sure people from from Etica read every post here. This statement to clear the complaint I shared and you disregarded.

I a female and I am hurt.

The Misogynistic managers and directors at Vmware who reorganized recently and had 3 new Male managers. The whole Organization under the Sr. Director (who will be fired soon) is an all-male organization.

Names? I will provide that when I get the clearance from:
1- EEOC.
2- DOL (Dept of Labor).
3- California Labor Board.

I specifically named the four male individuals (Sr. Director, Sr. manager, Manager, Manager, Sr. Manager). All males. I gave all details including their bar habits in picking up junior employee girls. Each one of these Misogynists.

This will be the fight of my life. Over 5 years of silence is going rogue now.

The as an individual contributor. Over these past several months, I have been discussing with my manager and his manager (director) my desire to be a manager. There were several opportunities but I was being passed on every time. Excuse after the other. Then I felt that it is the boys club. I stopped trusting both of them because of their lies. Then I realized that all the managers are boys in the organization (secure state). I decided to leave because I gave up and accepted a manager position outside this misogynist club. What triggered me to write this up is that I just learned that my manager was in discussions for reorganizations during that time and now he announced promoting 3 male individual contributors to managers. I am in shock. His organization has no female manager despite that the females are more capable than these misogynists. One female was promoted as an Individual contributor but denied the manager position. I come to realize it is not about abilities. I will not come forward with my name because I know nothing will happen and I know this manager will do anything to shoot me down. His team of liars will do anything. But maybe Ms Betsy can see this organization and these misogynists. I will tell everyone about this misogynistic organization until I see justice.

You won't have to worry about this much longer. By reporting you have been identified as a problem and will be out in the new year. This will give you a great opportunity to learn new skills and how to add value and to stop using victim mentality.

If you don't get promoted and/or don't get what you want, you just blame misogyny. Pretty sweet deal, really. One, it's not your fault, they're misogynists and never gave you your fair chance. Two, since that is the case you don't have the burden of having to look inward to determine whether in fact it might be because of your skills/attitude/aptitude/etc. If it is one of those things, you're oblivious and in denial so you keep on doing what you're doing and continue to not get promoted. Back to step one to repeat the cycle, but since it's the fault of the misogynists you don't bother to improve.

Maybe it's you. Maybe not... but you might want to consider it.

You not getting a management position has nothing to do with being female. I have worked with several. My first manager was a female and has been promoted multiple times. I am not female, have been here for almost 5 years and have the same title as the day I started, and have worked on 3 different teams. when I ask about promotion, I am told that I am heard, but nothing happens. No guidance. I too have asked about a management position and with 20 + years in the industry, I am basically told that I am not qualified. This is the reason things don't change and it has nothing to do with Misogyny. Get over yourself. If you want to get promoted at VMware, start kissing a-s and doing a TON of work that is outside of your job description, and then maybe you'll be considered. I watch the most worthless people in the ORGs get promoted. Oh, and if you don't work for Core, you aren't getting sh-t. no perks, no promotion. This is my biggest issue. The people that do and know the least are the ones lifted up as well-deserved promotions.

Wow! VMware sucks! Toxic!
I worked with them as a customer. Meetings are too aggressive, rude and unapproachable. Definitely not a collaborative environment.

My wife works with them ina partner capacity. Very rude engineers of senior level. Very belligerent approach in their discussions and condescending.

I guess basic questions around qualifications are forbidden in this world.

VMware is a farce. A dirty place. HR/ER has no morals, no motivation and no power. They are controlled by senior leadership. They won’t investigate a complaint unless it is approved by the same leaders that injured you. Think about that. I know at least 3 others that share the same experience. If you don’t have a good attorney, get one that sued these fu-k0rs before. VMware doesn't want you working for them while suing them. This is why they play the performance game. VMware attorneys are a joke. Leftovers like management. A slam dunk for any firm to prevail against them.
