Couldn’t sleep all weekend thinking about this week. I hope no mortgage layoffs

I'm truly sad because I think I'm next to be laid off. A person brought it up in the meeting and it didn't sound good. It's like they didn't want to directly say that they have discussed laying people off. Although I've been with the bank for years I've only been in my role about a year. I know they'd let me go for sure compared to others who have a lot more experience then me . Maybe I'm over reacting but I'm fixing up my resume and looking elsewhere before it happens to me.
Don't worry about a thing cause every little thing gonna be all right singing don't worry about a thing cause every little thing gonna be all right.
There will be layoffs this week, next week, and every week until morale improves.
If it is worrying you so much, take the opportunity while you are still employed to look for another job. Also, bring it up with your manager during the performance review process. They may not know but they may know something. It's usually easier to find a new job while you are still employed. You will feel better if you take a more proactive approach rather than worry about when you might get laid off.
Are there rumors of layoffs this week? I have not heard anything.
