Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

This is beyond cruel

This is the most unprofessional and the cruelest way they could have done this. Definitely leaves a bad taste for this company. Even if people do survive this round, I’d bet lots will still leave because of the way this was handled.

This is exactly what is happening, and what will continue to happen. Humana will lose many more people than it had planned originally and I'll be ecstatic to see management's reactions when work isn't getting done because there aren't enough of us left.

Just to clarify... HCO is not like that as in... not a positive environment. You are told how great the organization/department is doing, then bo-m laid off. Without this site I wouldn't have known it could been possible because of the back handed deals going on behind the scenes with senior leaders and profit sharing. I absolutely believe karma is alive and well and eventually everyone has to answer to what they did in life. I hope others like myself are able to dust themselves off, grieve and find a new job quickly. Any role will be a healthier solution compared to this.

That's not the norm in HCO.

I’m sorry that’s been you’re experience. I’ve been with Humana for a decade and have had great leads and never felt abused, and feel rewarded for my efforts. The members can be trying, but my department is supportive

Sadly, people will stay because they are getting paid, bonuses, promotions, even if the environment is abusive.
