Meta gave employees 16 weeks PLUS two weeks per year AND 6 months of health insurance coverage. And what do we get? Our leadership would be happy if they could get away with kicking us out on our behinds with nothing. As it is, they give us the bare minimum they can get away with.

All you people saying the company is losing money and earnings are down need to step back and realize that the people that are the cause of layoffs are the same people that are the cause of poor company performance, poor stock performance and a sh-t ton of debt. This problem was created by incompetent leadership.
Some companies only give two weeks plus outstanding PTO. Meta also employs developers, IT professionals with certifications and degrees; some incredibly smart people. Half of VZ workforce is Mall adjacent and bleeding based on the earnings. As the boomer population shrinks, so will the relevance. How many mall stores are left and how indirect locations are there?

And Twitter have 3 months. 2 weeks per year (time) served, called at 35 weeks isn't terrible. Uncapped is actually quite good.
Verizon is a tech company wannabe but not an actual tech company like meta.
