3M Board Declares Quarterly Dividend

To all those folks who were layed off, fired, forced out, etc., the board thanks you for sacrificing your job so we had the money to pay our rich shareholders.

Roman is an “ex Officio” member of the board of directors. This unethical action belongs solely to him; to be enacted by his consigliere Monish Patolawala.

Layoffs in Meta (FB) :

Statement by Mark Z :

"I want to take accountability for these decisions and for how we got here. I know this is tough for everyone, and I’m especially sorry to those impacted."

Layoffs in 3M :

Due to current macroeconomic conditions, blah blah blah....

I have not heard a single executive ever take responsibility for their wrong decisions. It has always been outside their ability to control things.

How pathetic is 3M top management going back at least 10 years.

Look at the way Mark Zuckerberg announced his layoffs taking full ownership whereas MR pushes all the layoffs to Business leads. Lame leadership! Will however take any kudos the market gives.. from dividends paid.

A Q4 dividend approval before financial results are in? That tells me that there is no limit to the number of people that will be cut just so Roman and his gang of thugs can claim that they’ve continued paying dividends for over 100 consecutive years. No regard for the employees once again. That man is a disgrace, he has no conscience, and it’s past time for his retirement.
