Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Anything in EIP?

I hear about other areas of Humana facing RIFs, but everyone is either less than open in what they share around EIP or incompetent so they would have no clue to begin with (literally oblivious that RIFs are happening elsewhere). Has anyone heard any rumors? I know the cloud moves (plural) have not gone well and it feels like the powers that be will come down hard.

They're referring to EIP (enterprise information protection) which is a department within Humana. EIP had one small team affected by the RIF late last year but that was it, I think.

2npg+1j9l5FX7- 2022 AIP is safe, and those in the markets that were RIFed a couple of months ago were told they had to stay until 12/31 in order to receive their AIP. Some opted to leave and not be held hostage but the 12/31 date is pretty firm if people want their severance and Full AIP. I wonder how long AIP will continue though, since it clearly rewards all.

Do you mean AEP - Annual Enrollment Period, AIP - Associate Incentive Plan, or is EIP a department/some other acronym? AIP will hopefully be good since the STARs rating was so high, but that assumes that it doesn't get cut as part of project growth (and survival of the RIFs long enough to collect).
