Payout is location dependent, local laws and national legislation. Australia is quite different than the USA.
Remote employees don't get the 2 month WARN notice, so 1 week pay for every year of service and you're out. With Warn, they deduct that pay from your severance, so it's the same $ in the end.
Usually packages depend on amount of time with the company. A week per year, pro-rated IIRC.
Curious OP if by Marketing you mean OMC. That one’s been rumored for rd 2 in November.

And of course, the ability to stay on your laptop and apply to jobs internally if you wish.
