I hate my life. I am stuck with a boatload of VZ shares, purchased at $55. It seemed like a good investment at the time. It just keeps going down, down, down and down.

$36.74 today! You go girl.
I got out at $61.06 . I’ll get back in at $20.
Dividends = $2 per year
Gonna take a lot of years to makeup for loss in share price!
Big dummy!
The big question is how far does the stock price have to fall before it becomes a target for a corporate raider which once upon a time was unthinkable.
Verizon reminds me of GE when it was on it's way down never to recover. Hans has turned Verizon into just another commodity. This is what happens when you hire consultants like McKinsey who peddle the same playbook to you and your competitors.
This year they involuntarily cashed out my employee stock awards because I retired. I was pi---d at the time, but the stock cashed out in the low 50's. Thanks for looking out for me.
VZ BOD wake up, Hans needs a bonus for the excellent work he performed as CEO.
At close Friday $36.85. You've got to be kidding me. It will be at $20 by end of year! This is getting ridiculous. Can anything be done to stop the drop?
How do you think the institutional investors feel now? They are starting to realize they are sitting on a ticking time bo-b with regard to their VZ shares.
VZ had their heyday, hit their peak, it's all downhill from here. They are in debt $137B, not likely they will survive long enough to pay it off.
Unfortunately you can't hold the RSUs and wait for the share price to go back up. But then again it's free money.
OUCH, how much lower can it go? It's shameful, probably be $20 by eoy.
$36.96 now
That stinks, sorry to hear it. VZ is extremely low right now, so if you can hang on to them , don't sell. It will come back. I keep seeing more and more analysts flipping it to a buy at these levels. Mid 40's is a good spot to get out.
Also, general rule of thumb is to not buy stock in the company you work for as you already have risk (in the form of your salary) tied to the company's fortunes. Diversification you know.
$37.00 now
THE ENTIRE MARKET IS DOWN, YOU ARE NOT SPECIAL.
$55 was maybe the highest Verizon ever has seen since it's 2000 inception. Great financial strategy you must have, enjoy your WalMart greeter job at 90 years of age, because you'll need it with your financial wizardry😁
“It will be $65 in two years”
Reverse split?
Diversify, diversify, diversify!! No matter how much you believe in one company it’s never worth putting all your money in it.
Also, why are there so many people at VZ who have VZ stock when most employees don’t get any type of stock plan.
There are a lot of ppl holding vz shares....hoping Hans has a plan. If ur near retirement it's especially tough.
It will be $65 in two years.
Sit on them, they will correct eventually. You’re still making decent dividends
