Is there any chance that they will offer a voluntary separation package? I'm only asking because someone here mentioned this as a possibility, although I sincerely doubt it. Sounds too good to be true.

I'm hearing that they are asking for volunteers in some groups.
They did it a few years back. Some groups had too many people put up their hand, particularly legacy products that you can't find the skillset as younger workers don't know the technology. So there is a risk in that, they may be hesitant to do it.
