Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Anxious about cuts or...?

If I were in Oracle's management, I would be very disappointed if I found out that many employees were eagerly awaiting their severance package to get out of this place, rather than being worried and anxious about whether they will be one of the targeted groups. This is devastating and signals that morale will be almost at zero after these cuts.

Actually it tells O they need to work harder to increase attrition among undesirable employees. O has always treated people like widgets.

Yes!
Absolutely employees have rights. And Oracle needs to be held accountable for every employee that has been abused. Degrading employees calling them nothing but commodities is abuse. Unbelievable that employees have put up witb this.
Oracle does not have the right to encourage Mgmt to treat people badly & they treat customers bad.
It’s despicable.
Every VP and Mgr that do this are not fit to be iin management.
They need to be fired, immediately.
Wish they could all leave.

The employees have power too. Imagine if most of them did leave—but the benefits are too great.
