Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

What I tell my customers

I explain we are dealing with massive layoffs and budget cuts which is causing delays in service, parts, and manufacturing. Xerox sold off parts distribution centers, sent escalation teams overseas, ki---d a merger with a huge source of chips, PCB boards and parts, and so much more.

When customers ask about their new machine's ETA, I tell them it's not sitting on a boat waiting to get unloaded. I tell them xerox destroyed their supply chain by trying to save money and now it's back to bite them in the a-s. We had delays before the pandemic due to X trying to source new manufacturers since Fuji gave em the finger. The pandemic was just a scape goat for excuses.

When they ask why, I tell them to look at the XRX stock and remind them we have shareholders that only care about their returns, they really don't care about your printer. They don't care about your frustration. They want to lock you into a contract and make it he-l for you to get out.

X wants to make my life he-l. Well... I'm going to stop making bs excuses for them and start telling the truth.

Stop lying for these share holders that rather you lose a career and sc--w over your family so they can make their profit. End this now.

Just tell your customers that the once great Xerox is now an old, slow company,
short on innovation and service.

Sales Divas lying again. Wow. What a piece of work.

This company is by far the most screwed up place that i can think of. With the possible exception of the United States Postal Service.

Poor decisions and egotistical attitudes are a dime a dozen here, depending on who is still left. The blatant “ i know best “ attitude, while the jet plummets to the desert floor, explains a lot.
Waiting for the next blow heart to come on here and tell us how great xerox is, how much money he is making, and how great he is. Bring the popcorn 🍿. The comedy club is open.

Sales divas lying again, writing one handed posts about what they would do if they weren’t chasing carrots believing that the reason the carrots were dangling in the first place is because only the most important rabbits in the company get them.

A complete and total joke. Xerox is a bunch of liars and total pinheads. I wouldn’t trust them for all the tea in China. I cannot believe anyone with an IQ above room temperature is still working there. You will be eaten alive by these people, that’s for damn sure.

Xerox stock is worthless and so is all the management. It couldn’t happen to a nicer group of scumbags.

Make sure you use the correct algorithm to delete this post.

Just bundle some xrx stock into your copier deals. That way they can’t complain cuz they’re effectively ownership… dividend blood bucks should distract them from whining about service, toner, parts, gear.

I used to cover for the company. Not any more. I'm mentally exhausted and blown away by the decisions that keep happening. I tell them the truth. It's the best policy. I don't care what happens, lying is unethical.
I used to say I was overworked. I didn't know what that meant until this past week when 4 of our service reps were laid off. There aren't many of us left and the work keeps coming. There are only so many fingers you can put in the holes of the dam. It's about to break.

Lot of people mad at this post but if you spend months coming up with lies to tell nice people about there experience right to their FACE, not on the phone, or through an email, or through HCL .
This Service provider is mentally exhausted and has had no help or explanation from management, a town hall meeting or a one on one that can go a long way with customer issues.
It’s obvious, just read between the lines

Most companies are having issues right now. But kudos to xerox for keeping that suhweet dividend juice a flowing. Magic in a cup. It tastes like an 84 mth Versant lease mixed with the tears of laid off xeroids… The best part is I get to flip my laid off colleagues base. I’m making it rain y’all! 🌧

@OP, if you can't take it any longer, why don't you pull the plug and find other work?

Afraid that your skills are not transferrable?

Why create more stress for yourself and your colleagues?

Remember that what you are saying affects your work colleagues also, so have some heart and shxt up!

Tell them that Ford is taking all the microchips for their rear seat heaters and that’s why they haven’t received their copier yet. At least that’s better b.s. than what you are getting from our “leadership” in xerox.

The customer will immediately escalate to management and you’ll be fired. No joke. Go ahead and tell the customers that smart guy. Just leave if you are so unhappy.
