We have already had significant layoffs. Everyone is more or less dissatisfied, frustrated and less productive than ever. I can't even imagine what the morale would be like among those who would survive this round of layoffs that everyone is talking about now. I think it would lower morale next to nothing.

UFO here. It’s just like I said— tomorrow, or the next day, no no no, next week now. It’s coming. The Mayan calendar eventually ended too, but we’re still here. The sad part is, eventually you might be right. But thus far, all those fueling the 2k layoffs theory have been just dead wrong. Sure, in a company of 10s of 1000s of people, there’s going to be some regular amounts of layoffs. But cmon, this is all unverifiable nonsense. And if you got laid off this week, good for you. Better places await you. Never look back at this board, bc you don’t need to.
Still coming. Remember the size of the organization. Different groups and organizations will be staggered. A couple early notices now, could be more this week. Large group will be mid next week. There's no way these events are coordinated to single day/hour across the enterprise.
It does seem evident, at least so far, that this major RIF event hasn’t materialized. I wonder if they reconsidered based on the current environment (not enough people with knowledge) or perhaps they are going to stagger it throughout the rest of the year so it’s not as noticeable and won’t create a huge “buzz” effect through the org. I must admit I was pretty convinced there was something major happening this week myself.
Hey where's that shill with the 44000 happy people at the company or some other bs number?
Did they get laid off this round lol
Not just layoffs. Those that don't adhere to RTO are being fired weekly, from here through December. My understanding is no warnings.
