Hey is there any reps in the new position around that can comment on what their new job entitles? We’re going January 1 and hearing talk that we won’t be merchandising or writing orders on our territories just selling?

They can't even staff half that! And BTW, they just throw bodies out there who have no training. I had a merchandiser sent out to build a holiday display, a HUGE one I sold on. Merchandiser got there and left, said they didn't know what was in the boxes (the display pieces). Someone tell me how they would have set that up having never built a single hutch.
Good Luck, it all falls back on the reps. Guess who will be building that at the end of their day? If you guessed your DM, WRONG! These are NOT isolated instances, this is the NORM for our area and our DM is MIA. I miss every objective and work 38 hours in the field and 2 from home for admin and do NOT take calls on the weekend of evenings. I document everything, I mean everything, I cc myself on every correspondence.

Unless you have 5 full time merchandising order writes and even if you have that you will still throw 3-4 a week and write orders

Curioius who told you Jan 1 and where you are located. Also if Jan 1 , hsve people been informed about their positions or lack of positions
