I don't trust them at all anymore. Didn't they go a bit overboard with all those empty promises?
I had a hard time deciding to leave because I've been here for a long time but it turned out to be the only solution.

Most organizations have a bad apple or two in leadership positions. What is mind-blowing about Truist is how consistent the traits of dishonesty, paranoia, pettiness, and arrogance are among their leadership ranks. It is like those traits are actual prerequisites to be in leadership at Truist.
Finding a solid individual in a management role at Truist is becoming a unicorn. The good managers don’t stay because they disagree with the treatment of the employee base - and the vicious cycle gets worse.
Yeah, that place is really bad. Bad people running the show.
