The fact we've lost that much market cap is bad. The fact it was done in the most bullish economy this country has ever seen is absolutely insane. The Dow 30 (not exactly growing tech companies, but other mature Verizon like businesses) is up +50% in the same timeframe.
If we had even kept up with the market our stock would be $75. Hans has destroyed so much shareholder value, not to mention the destruction of a once enviable company culture and network.
Who would have thought T Mobile would ever have a higher market capitalization than Verizon?
January 1, 2017:
T Mobile Market Cap: $51.46B
Verizon Market Cap.: $217.61B
August 31, 2022:
T Mobile Market Cap: $181.27B
Verizon Market Cap: $176.82
Thanks Hans, Ronan, Guru, Manon, and our entire Board for hiring these imposters masquerading as US Telecom leaders.
Weak
Customers are one thing. Wait til they find out which carrier has the most depressed employees. Not that anyone in the C suite cares about its employees
Hans is chair of Blackrock and also a member of the World Economic Foundation; they know what they are doing.
Thanks for the credit card fill the fridge next month. The incentive of being able to eat are enticing.
Bro, out network has been taking a big sh-t for a t least a year, we are bleeding customers because of it. We're the most expensive, which was ok when we had the best network, now people are bi-----g on the daily about no service, dropped calls ,slow or no data, I don't know what planet your on but our network has gone to sh-t!
Lots of those problems can be solved if we get out of the hardware reselling business.. the network works great (mostly) you might get one person a day that has some sort of service issue, but you'll get 20 people a day that have a problem with their email or other some other feature related to Verizon on their phone. Problem with apple phone? Better go down to Verizon.
I don't think the csuite can read. If it's not a colorful slide deck with 25 meeting attendees they won't pay attention, does t make them feel important enough.
You have to jingle keys in front of the babies to get any idea noticed around here.
