Should we be worried about more unexpected cuts?

Everyone is affected. FOPS, SWOPS, RF, Development...no one is safe
@lyr+1itSsXTn Both legacy magenta and yellow.
Is this all legacy sprint folks or is tmo folks getting hit as well?
Got cut today, 9 years down the toilet. I still can’t believe it, it’s like a kn--e in my back. I spent the last two years making excuses for T-Mobile, saying they were going to change and go back to the company I once lived and now I am jobless.
It's a blood bath at ATS. Hope you sleep well tonight Mikey and Deanna.
ATS got hit hard
These are people with skill sets that are very hard to replace and will absolutely negatively affect the customer.
Several market level ICs were cut today in my group. It wasn't a huge amount but was told other markets are being hit harder. I was told there would be a all hands call sometime soon and they would announce that this region's cuts were done.
yep.. its rampant this week and isnt over mon or tues... other orgs..
change in direction of the company...
Contractor here. 2 of my TMO regular employees got let go today. They knew major lay-offs were coming, and had a feeling they were on the chopping block. Both great employees who here high performers.
Cannot understand why they are letting go of so many high quality people.
Yeah I just was notified. In ats eit ip and I'm the only one that was notified. I know of a couple on core ip that have meetings scheduled. What I don't understand is the criteria used to get the axe...we are all considered very high performers.
Can’t believe they let John Lewis go. Dude was integral to operations for like 2+ decades. Shows some pretty bad decision making to me.
Which VPs and directors got the axe?
Director John Lewis was the only one I know of.
Apply for unemployment today. Take the long weekend to be with your loved ones.
They’re coming for developers in TSD&O today. If you’re a senior developer, you will be axed today without a doubt.
So long everyone.
My manager and senior manager were laid-off yesterday. Today, I have a 9am meeting with my director. Hmmm... what could that mean?
I'm guessing the 30 minute one on one with my director isn't a good sign.
It’s not looking good for ICs, a few more hours and we’ll find out.
It's a BYOB day for me. Bring Your Own Box. I fully expect to be home before noon. 20 years with a Peak and Winners Circle. Oh well
VP's, Directors and Managers got hit today. ICs will be tomorrow. Figure 2-3x the number of Managers and Directors. In a word? Bloodbath.
