This is a sweatshop. Those who have been here for a long time are starting to feel worthless because their self esteem is shot. There is no reason for such feelings, life is much better outside of Mondelez. I think most people here can find a better job it's just that they don't try hard enough.

Full time merchandisers don't take the weekend off because they have TWO OTHER DAYS PER WEEK OFF, not because they are doing us sales reps a favor. And that is how the COMPANY schedules them, the scheduling has NOTHING to do with the sales rep.
Are you for real??? Get it together!!! That is the full time merchandisers schedule.
I have worked here long enough where I also was scheduled on weekends as a sales rep. I have had Friday/Saturday off, and also Sunday/Monday off. It has not always been a Mon-Fri schedule for sales reps.
This company schedules sales reps Mon-Fri because they have decided that is where they get the most bang for their buck. NOT because the company is doing sales reps a favor!!!
The company decided, after many "tests" to keep sales reps Mon-Fri because they have us throwing loads, doing display changes, etc. Something we did not do on the weekends, like the lazy a-s merchandisers do not have to do.
Don't EVER compare ME to a merchandiser, or an order writer. I run circles around all of them, and I'm 2X their age. They are all lazy AF!!!
When I worked the weekends, that was the LEAST amount of work I ever had to do.
So, I know how LITTLE merchandisers have to do on the weekends, so STFU!!!

We were hearing April but DM said they were looking at our team starting in Oct. That would seem.pretty early if not starting til April. Who knows? Wish i did. Lol
I'm In Ohio and was told changes coming in January. Anyone know?
Same here as our DM is saying restructure getting done in November going live Jan 1st. I heard Ohio goes live October first and just let a lot of reps go i. Their market.

Where are you located with a Jan start date. Is your DM saying that?
Mission one doesn’t start here until January 1 but also hoping to be let go as that seems to be the only way to get the severance which is sad because I know quite a few people that would take it
Your right ! Because I never had any weekend service .. not bi-----g about overtime but 350-500 cases a day gets old and I’m sure your a troll who has never worked a day in your life here

Well said ! Had a 4 month stretch of no help at all ! Cases per Hr #1 rank And still only 1 full time merchandiser not order writer for the last 6 months Ranked in top 10 in sales but got burnt on fd and osa because company can’t keep distribution centers stocked so we can get things ! 25 percent of territory is 1 day a week stores and one is a super center ! The other 3 major chain ! People still buy sh-t ! And the wondered why shelf empty
As bad as it sounds I’m looking for the swift kick in the a-s and getting let go. I’m tired, burned out, and sick of getting abused. I couldn’t even take a vacation last year because we had literally no one. Sold back 2 weeks, carried over 1, and lost the rest.
They sent out a report on cases stocked and hours taken. I’m miles ahead on cases stocked and used 100+ less hours doing so. All the while I’m getting bitched at why things aren’t perfect. I just can’t put up 300-400 cases a day, write 4 orders, and take care of every little thing. You can’t win. You get bitched at because your into overtime, bitched at for every little thing. Such a joke.
It's not my self esteem that's shot, it's my body that's shot from all the years of abuse.
Definitely a sweatshop, but only for some employees like myself. I know employees that are scheduled to do 1/4 of what they schedule me for.
I'm looking.
Favoritism and nepotism runs rampant in this company.
