Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

?

Speculation- will the RIFs in retail and the restructuring be aligned with the Centerwell establishment in various areas? If you look at the career site, there are lots of hybrid roles open with Centerwell. And, Humana usually gives 60 official days notice for RIFs, following the law…they’re just talking about it now, it isn’t official….while October has been brought up, I wonder how open enrollment is going to impact it, or is Humana moving out of certain locations? How will United changing the cost structure of diabetic meds change things? Demographically, where are the most dual members, because that’s what they’re focusing on?

Care management can be farmed out also.

If open enrollment does not produce the number of members that Humana is expecting then there will be more layoffs at the beginning of the year. Next big layoff will be in October. Humana leadership has been saying this for months now. Usually they do it the first week in October. Once again Merry Christmas the Humana way. Good luck everyone.

RIF notices have already gone out in retail with more to come in October. The realignments in the Medicare markets make for larger markets and are more in line with the bigger competitors. Humana has way too many chiefs. We don’t need all the mid to mid upper management. Look for ADs to go next, since most of them really don’t know what they’re doing . CM doesn’t show a return on investment and UM can be farmed out or automated.
