So much complaining about something that should be seen as business as usual. We live in capitalism and if you think anybody is going to gift you anything you are wrong. You have to fight for the things you want and you need to make sure they happen. Complaining about it is easy. Stop hating on Oracle because it's doing what it's supposed to be doing to survive in a competitive environment.

cheating and taking work from subcontractor and mulipulating another manager and an employee and subcontractor files complaint with Oracle ethics and his job was terminated and manager was promoted to VP and filed a patent with the subcontractors work -- is not exactly whining.
Laws are made for people that do this and if those laws are broken then, there are consequences.
I have gotten over busybody know nothing armchair analyst telling me to get over it!
Interesting that there are rules, regulations and laws for protection of all. And every publicly traded company is required by the SEC to write their own Code of ethics which Is a huge part of Oracle’s website. And then, there is the reality of Oracle’s management….
To all you "get over it" tough guys out there, your views are so simplistic and outdated its actually kind of funny. Just because someone has a grievance with Oracle it doesn't mean they are lazy, whiny, entitled snowflakes. The idea that you either put up with things as they are or quit is so basic.
How about instead of quitting every time things get tough (or silently carrying on until you burnout) we take some responsibility, speak up and try to make Oracle a better place of work for us all? Wouldn't that benefit everyone?
But no, you'd rather just shout down anyone with a genuine complaint by calling them "whiners". Let me tell you, you're not hard-headed, you're not "being real", you're not working harder, you just happen to like the status quo. You don't want to listen or empathise because it doesn't suit your agenda. It's selfish. When the company treats YOU poorly, are you going to practice what you preach and just get over it? I doubt it.
As long as you're taking responsibility for your own situation and delivering what you promised, then you should feel free to speak up. Otherwise they'll walk all over you. I agree that complaining on here will achieve little and that some people take Oracle's actions too personally, but if you have a good reason for it, then go ahead. It's really no surprise that people turn to an anonymous message board when Oracle refuses to listen.
I just ❤️ that Sun Microsystems lives rent-free in the brains of so many of you oracleites
😂🤣
Major troll thread.
Those of you tough guys who say to suck it up or quit ….. ARE 100% CORRECT!
90% of the whiners are ex-Sun people who sit around all day reminiscing about their glory days at Sun in the mid 1990s.
Old dinosaurs who are way past their pull dates. Larry should have fired each and every one of these Sun losers before the beginning of 2011.
So they whine and moan, whine and none, and wine some more while I supply the cheese to them to go with their whine. And laugh, and laugh, and laugh continuously.
You Sun losers — I can never get enough of your antics !!
I'm so tired of the whining by people who have actually accomplished nothing in their careers. Larry has created perhaps one of the 10 greatest companies in the history of mankind. Please tell me exactly what you've done for Oracle, but moan? The vast majority of Oracle employees actually like working here, feel like they are part of a company that makes a difference. They understand how the company makes money, why the company undergoes change, and have been rewarded with meaning careers that have helped there families prosper. If you don't feel you've benefited, perhaps its time to take a long hard look at yourself. If you hate the company so much, really its time to leave. Do us all a favor and please go.
My sentiments exactly - its a free market people - oracle doesnt owe you anything - corporations are citizens not government
OP still believes in trickle down economics. Go back to sp-t shining your Saint Ronnie statue.
Oh hello HR aka people who don’t do cr-p about anything!
You can certainly be ruthless or a little kinder in this environment.
Oracle has done neither, choosing to stay tight-lipped. Have you seen Aria lately? It doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

This!
OP sounds like a fu-----d. Capitalism is one thing but actually being a sh-t company and not rewarding those who are most loyal and hardworking even with a cost of living adjustment so their current salary outpaces inflation is a sh---y way to do business. Capitalism is fine but there are well run businesses that manage to be profitable AND reward their employees.
He that lives by the sword, will die by the sword.
Your turn will come!
Your delusional. Capitalism? Oracle takes and doesn’t give
Just curious, how is this different from any other oligarch-run US corporation, e.g., Facebook, Amazon, Starbucks, etc?
This message brought to you by The Clueless Manager. Now get back to work! 🙄
Hhahahahaha
Great, thanks for that Larry.
