Layoffs today r brutal - the bullsh-t of new skills and lack of transparency will hopefully haunt Bill Ford for a long time - they cleaned house - Doug Field has been hiring his folks over from Tesla and Apple - if you were older and werent part of the ' old boys club ' u didnt stand a chance - the packages are so-so, if you had 20+ years u get 9 months of bay/ benefits - if you worked 7 or less - only 2 months - IMO - Ford management are cowards - this happened back in late 2000's and everyone knew few months in advance so they can prepare. This same company has been doing the same old sht since 1982. The only difference is who the hired executioner is. The problem is the the family is involved in the normal business operations, getting paid at least 4 times the going rate for whatever job they were given. To make up for their great genetic skills, others have to be hired, and work at least a double workload. Until some of the gifted family is removed,work here at your own risk.
