Anybody else having these things pouring back into the stores to be returned?? At first they sounded pretty good, but the more we sell the more come back, customers saying the went from around 300mbs to 15 or 20 mbs. We were told 5 g was going to be the second coming, our network is taking a a bigger sh-t every day, what happened to all the capacity and speed 5g was supposed to deliver?? Seems like 5g is becoming more of a problem than everyone thought. I'm sick of trying to explain to customers why their service was fine 6 months ago and now it sucks, I'm sick of defending the company I once believed was the best, I'm sick of trying to explain to people why their bill keeps going up and their service keeps getting worse and I'm sick of the people in upper management trying to sweep all this sh-t under the rug. For years the front line employees were told we were the problem, we didn't do this or that, we didn't sell enough of this or that. The people at the top can't hide any longer, it's all about to come crashing down and Hans and his cronies can't seem to figure out why, price and service, that's all we hear about all day long. Maybe they should listen to their employees!

Seems to be a captivity issue once we sell a few of these in each area, the speeds go to cr-p!!
I’m curious how the company will handle all of the returns and those customers that have now tried the home internet, didn’t like it, and probably won’t try it again. My fear is customers that have tried it and didn’t like it will already have a bad taste in their mouth. It seems like trying to win them back is 100 times harder.
I disagree with you saying that we are constantly raising our prices we are not. We recently raised the prices on our limited shared data plans and those haven't been raised in at least 5 years. People's bills are higher because they're buying phones and forget that they have a device payment on them then they call in and complain about their bill and when you explain to them oh yeah you've got three device payments so that right there is $120 of your bill. That's on them. Oh and you've got the family insurance plan that's $50 oh and if you're in Texas your taxes are sky high. Break down the bill for them and make them understand what they're paying for.
The sales reps are hurting this company by not working hard enough to sell product. They need to earn their money.
We have people bi-----g that it was great for a couple of months and then it takes a sh-t and they are getting horrible speed, goes from around 300 doen into the 20s or 30s, we had a network person in store and said its capacity, once x amount of people get it the network gets to congested.
It really just depends on area. We have only had a small % come back. I use it personally and I've been a solid 280 to 300 mbps down since I turned it on 2 months ago. So far so good. We do have some come back but most don't.
Maybe sell the product to people that actually qualify instead of playing games in the system to sell it to those that don't?
No point in selling this 5”G”arbage ! What’s the point if it will come back !
Yes having 50% of BI wash or deact every month is getting old, what does “leadership” do?? Double the goal🤣
FWA is the new Hum . In a couple of years we will forget about FWA and think to ourself a how d-mb of a product iit was … but until then we have to be forced to sell it
We are the same, we only sell it because upper management is shoving it down our throats on the daily, they want one a day per rep, it's just another product that was rushed and now it's getting a bad rap from customers, also seems the only people that want it live in an area that doesn't support it. We are also getting the slow speed complaints and lag. Was Hans lying to us about 5g speed and it's incredible capacity? Sure looks like it.
My store stopped selling them until they fix this bandwidth issue. No need to become a wash transaction or a charge back for next month. Between this and the service recently, I also agree with the OP. I truly was behind working for this company and now it’s embarrassing being the front line and can’t even explain why our service went to cr-p. Let alone push a product that I have zero faith in that will work EFFECTIVELY for a customer just to move a metric. NO THANKS!
Home Phone Connect, Go90, Hum, Yahoo, BlueJeans, LTE Home and now 5G FWA… our executive managers are woefully I’ll prepared to lead this company. Poor decisions year after year, then blame employees for under executing. Weak and pathetic. Verizon is not the company we used to be. Sad.
here in Miami we had several reps with managers knowledge selling 5G Home like crazy (Slamming Sales, Fraud) and they all came back to cancel....
Yeah on store level they comeback faster then they go out. Other channels sell them and then they bring them back to the store.
5Yee!! What could possibly go wrong? Throw it in the Verlieson scrap pile with the likes of Get It Now, HUM, Home Phone Connect to name a few...
Yea I feel like they planned all this to make front lines employees selling days worst , I wouldn’t be surprise if upper management has a daily meeting brainstorming how they can make Everyday living hard for store employees.5G is just another object they threw to us
