Can someone explain to me what is retail ? Does that mean commercial or Medicare advantage or what segment does retail refer to, and what departments does the regionalism impact? I’m sorry, I’m in a different department and don’t understand or know who retail serves

Again, I’m confused, but thank you…what specific departments are in retail? Which Medicare members do they work with, if it’s not commercial…who do the retail people touch- anyone who isn’t SNP or commercial ?
@1jli+1ik19tay 15 Medicare markets plus Puerto Rico and care plus comprised of contracting, provider engagement and HSO which manages UM inpatient care and some outpatient for both group and individual plans. Commercial UM and CM falls under clinical solutions not retail.
Which Medicare markers are retail? I’m sorry, I’m not understanding which are retail? Are they the group plans, the commercial plans?
Retail under George Renaudin includes MEDICARE MARKETS. Medicare markets experienced RIFs last week.
So, what is retail?
That is not correct
The retail market post is incorrect above. The retail side is the commercial side of the business, not Medicare/ Medicaid, experiencing layoffs. Humana Cares Support is the Medicare/ Medicaid side and is actually hiring nurses and care managers right now.
The Retail Segment is comprised of Individual Medicare Advantage, Group Medicare, Medicare Supplement, stand-alone Prescription Dr-g Plans, Individual Medicaid, and Long-term Support Services.
