Sales reps that lost their jobs will be offered $13 an hour to be merchandisers and order writers. Is there anybody that will tolerate that level of disrespect??

The "goal" of a corporation is to grow shareholders and investors money. There are lots of ways to make that happen but for years now, treating employees with respect and developing an inclusive atmosphere that attracts people has become a winning edge. Mondelez management has done everything humanly possible to do just the opposite. Discriminatory behavior as well as treating employees like dirt has earned Mondelez the reputation it has now deserved. Even before the pandemic they had trouble retaining help. Senior management received bonuses, yes a bonus, for hiring African American employees. That's what it took. GS partnered up with an all black school to get employees so he could line his pockets, every single employee he hired was let go within a year or two.

Y’all act like the goal of a company is to make sure that their employees are paid good wages and salary. The goal of a corporation is to make as much money as possible, and as efficiently as possible within the confines of the law. We are in a recession and just recently a tax hike was passed. If these rumored cuts that you all are discussing in fact happen I wouldn’t blame the company. I’d send the blame to the people responsible for this recession. Besides all of this is just rumor anyways and most of the stuff posted on here never comes true. People have been saying Dsd is gonna end for years and it ain’t ended yet.
